In October 20, 2008 MHA was formed by Mark Hart AIA, after spending 20 years in the Architecture and Construction Industries. Mark spent time working in residential construction, building and designing houses before he went to college and received his degree in Architecture from the Ohio State University. After college he worked with several Architecture firms in Columbus Ohio, most notably NBBJ. Upon his arrival in Austin Tx he began work for a leader in multi-family Architecture where he helped pioneer the High Density Mixed use structures located on the University of Texas' Campus, as well as other campuses and downtown locations across the country. At the time of his exit from Chiles Architects, he was their Chief Designer and Manager. Mark has worked on 10 jobs in Austin TX that were green building rated. Mark is also a LEED accredited professional.
Mark Hart Architecture is a full service Architecture Firm that focuses on Great Design by bringing thoughtful, logical and aesthetically pleasing elements together to interact with the environment. We believe in maximizing each project to its fullest potential so that the client gets the most functional and beautiful building possible. MHA is also well versed in the disciplines of Master Planning, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design.
MHA has extensive experience in the residential, commercial, high density - mixed use, adaptive re-use, affordable housing, restaurants, and retail markets.
